In India, every individual is the HERO. The nation builder.

Rings true with most I am sure. And that’s the simplicity of the approach in the new television commercial created for Hero MotoCorp. The launch timing of August 15th is also a reminder of the historic day when we (India) became 100% Indian. In mind, body & spirit. No different from the split of Hero from Honda, to build an independent identity that smells of a bold Indian flavour.

The new logo stands for the new face of India – that youthful energy and ‘can do’ spirit. It is in true sense the “Indian Catapult” which signals that while it is deeply rooted in Indian values, it is also poised to go for global expansion – a Leap of Faith.

“It is not just a change of name, it marks the ushering in of…

Afaristo Hellas

   3

Once a while it’s absolutely great to re-visit the past & watch progress through the lens of our ancestors. Greece is one such place. While much of Europe would subsume you with its pall of concern (economic crisis etc), the people of Hellas (Greece) have a ready smile for you. A short & sweet visit to take a leaf out of my history book, showed me a lot more than I’d expected.

Paris, je t’aime ~ With Brand Paris you can’t help but fall in love

   6

The aim of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial means and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when a stranger looks at it, it moves again since it is life  ~ William Faulkner (American Novelist & Short Story Writer, 1897-1962)

That would be the beginning of an ode to a sensorially rich city that you never tire of, however often you stop by. So who cares whether the French can speak English!!? Paris implores any visitor to learn just that little bit of its lilting language, so that you blend in. It’s truly like a lover, who can mould you and make you a slave to her passion and the headiness of a good life. It wasn’t my first visit and it’s not the raving…
